Overview
Our ATV Excursion is a fabulous and unique opportunity to explore the beautiful Tuscany countryside. We'll drive through the famous Chianti region featuring vineyards, rolling hills and olive groves. After a short orientation that will inform you how to operate an ATV safely, we'll go for a one hour and half ride along a mixed trail, alternating paved easy country roads to dirt back roads, mostly used by farmers. You will have great photo ops and lot of fun! After the excursion we'll visit the medieval town of San Gimignano, feautured by thirteen original 12th century towers, symbols of prestige and power for the rich families that ruled the city in its "golden age". We'll also have the chance to taste the famous Dondoli world champion gelato maker (not included). For lunch we'll transfer to a local Chianti winery. We'll enjoy a traditional Tuscan meal paired to a great selection of fine wines. Couples have the option to share an ATV and get a total of 20 euros discount. Children (+10yo) may join the tour as passengers.

9:00 a.m.
Meeting point and check in will be on Via Curtatone n.9, outside cafe Gamberini, a few minutes walk from the main Florence train station. Departure by 9:00am. In our comfortable air-conditioned 8-seats minivan you will be taken to the heart of the Chianti region where some of the most famous wines are produced.
11:00 a.m.
After a basic short orientation about the ATVs driving controls, the excursion starts. We’ll ride along scenic roads, surrounded by beautiful vineyards and olive groves. We’ll have a few stops along our way for some photo ops over the panoramic views uplooking the valley of the Elsa river, that is the natural border beethween the provinces of Siena and Florence. We’ll cruise over a mixed path: paved countryroads and dirty roads used by farmers. Drivers or passenger, your fun is guaranteed!
12:30 p.m.
We’ll transfer to San Gimignano for a guided visit to the medieval town, worlwide known for its impressive medieval towers. We’ll visit the world champion Dondoli gelato, then we’ll reach the top of the hill to enjoy the magic panoramic view of the Chianti region. Upon request you will have free time to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere of this stunning place.
2:00 p.m.
We’ll enjoy a typical Tuscan lunch combined to a wine tasting class at a local Chianti winery. The wine expert will present the list of wines to be paired with a traditional Tuscan meal. At the winery you will have the opportunity to purchase and ship tuscan wines.
4:00 p.m.
It’s time to come back to Florence. We’ll be at the same meeting place near by the Santa Maria Novella train station around 5:00 pm.

Great Vespa Tour
Everything about this tour exceeding my expectations. The staff were all friendly, knowledgeable, and very fun! Not only were we able to ride vespas through the beautiful Tuscan countryside, but we also stopped and visited a few villages and towns in the country. To top it all off, we had a delicious lunch with a wine and olive oil tasting.

I had a great day, mum had a great day, and our fellow passengers had a great day…. Our tour guide Elizabetha was informative and fun and took great care of us making sure the wine was flowing!
Very generous with the wine, the food was all organic from the farm we had our lunch at and was very tasty…
I bottled it on the riding but mum and the other all went and loved it… I stayed back at the stables with the dog…
Would highly recommend…
Also, if you are staying somewhere that doesn’t do breakfast then get to the meeting point a bit early as lovely cafe there….
Met some fab people and carried on the night from there…

Best wine tour

Chianti Wine Tour
This was seriously the best wine tour ever! Our tour guide, Daniel, was amazing; I would definitely suggest requesting him for your tour! He made sure that every moment on the tour was really fun! Our group cannot say enough nice words about him.
