Overview
Ride a Vespa on quiet and scenic roads through the rolling hills of the Chianti region. Tour will take place in the heart of Tuscany, where some of our most famous Chianti wines are produced. If you have no driving license, you do not have any experience or you do not feel comfortable riding on your own, you may decide to be passenger with one of our guides. Fun will be guaranteed anyway! Along our itinerary we'll stop for great photo ops and we'll have the chance to visit the famous medieval town of San Gimignano, worldwide known as the "medieval Manhattan"! Back on the vespas, we'll have more fun and more stunning panoramic views to enjoy! At the end of the Vespa ride we will visit a local winery where we will enjoy a great lunch with a guided Chianti wine tasting, during which you will have the pleasure to taste wines of local production. Couples have the option to share a Vespa and get a total of 20 euros discount. Children (6-11 yo) can partecipate as passengers with our guides or an expert driver. Infant (0-5 yo) may join the tour as passengers on our super fun Tuk-Tuk (Ape Calessino)!

9:00 a.m.
Meeting point and check in will be on Via Curtatone n.9, outside cafe Gamberini, a few minutes walk from the main Florence train station. Departure by 9:00am. In our comfortable air-conditioned 8-seats minivan you will be taken to the heart of the Chianti region where some of the most famous wines are produced.
10:30 a.m.
After a basic orientation, there will be a driving test that will help our tour guides determine if all the participants can safely drive their own Vespa. Those who don’t pass the test and those who are not willing to drive, will ride as passengers with our tour guides. Couples may decide to share a Vespa. This is possible only in case the driver is well experienced. Minors can only participate as passengers. We have a very comfortable Tuk Tuk (Ape Calessino) at their disposal. For safety reasons, all decisions will be taken by the tour guides who have responsibility towards the Vespa tour.
11:00 a.m.
We’ll ride along scenic roads on the beautiful rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside. We’ll have a few stops along our way with great photo ops. Our informative tour guides will introduce the participants to the history of the San Gimignano area and will entertain the group. They will also provide information about the wine and olive oil making and other relevant features of the region.
1:00 p.m.
On our way we’ll stop for a guided visit to the medieval town of San Gimignano, worldwide known for its impressive medieval towers. We’ll then reach the top of the hill to enjoy the magic panoramic view of the Chianti region and we’ll visit the world champion Dondoli Gelato.
2:00 p.m.
Back to the starting point of the Vespa ride, we’ll be ready to indulge in a delicious meal combined to a wine tasting class. The wine expert will present a list of local produced wines to be paired with a typical Tuscan light lunch. At the winery you will have the opportunity to purchase and ship Tuscan wines.
4:00 p.m.
It’s time to go back to Florence. We’ll get back to our meeting point in Via Curtatone 9, close to the Santa Maria Novella train station

Great Vespa Tour
Everything about this tour exceeding my expectations. The staff were all friendly, knowledgeable, and very fun! Not only were we able to ride vespas through the beautiful Tuscan countryside, but we also stopped and visited a few villages and towns in the country. To top it all off, we had a delicious lunch with a wine and olive oil tasting.

I had a great day, mum had a great day, and our fellow passengers had a great day…. Our tour guide Elizabetha was informative and fun and took great care of us making sure the wine was flowing!
Very generous with the wine, the food was all organic from the farm we had our lunch at and was very tasty…
I bottled it on the riding but mum and the other all went and loved it… I stayed back at the stables with the dog…
Would highly recommend…
Also, if you are staying somewhere that doesn’t do breakfast then get to the meeting point a bit early as lovely cafe there….
Met some fab people and carried on the night from there…

Best wine tour

Chianti Wine Tour
This was seriously the best wine tour ever! Our tour guide, Daniel, was amazing; I would definitely suggest requesting him for your tour! He made sure that every moment on the tour was really fun! Our group cannot say enough nice words about him.
